Kifi Free Wi-Fi

Terms & refunds

Version 1.0 · Effective 2026-10-01

1. The service

Kifi Free Wi-Fi is a free public Wi-Fi hotspot shared from a private campervan travelling around New Zealand. It is operated by Qi LIANG. By connecting, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Free of charge

Access is free. Each device is limited to about 3 Mbps download and 1 Mbps upload, 3 hours per session and 1 GB of download per session. You can reconnect for free after a session ends. When our monthly data budget runs low, speeds may be reduced for all users equally.

3. No guarantee

The Wi-Fi is provided "as is". It depends on where we are, satellite and mobile coverage, weather and power, and it may be slow, interrupted or unavailable at any time. Don't rely on it for emergencies. In an emergency, call 111. We are not liable for any loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the service, except where New Zealand law does not allow that to be excluded.

4. Fair use

You must not use the network to:

We may disconnect or block a device that breaks these rules. We may give relevant records to the New Zealand Police or other authorities where the law requires it.
